Removing slime and sludge from the tank walls and floor
Removing dirt and rust particles from the tank floor
Removing plant matter and sludge, and we can inspect for tree roots (above or below ground tank)
Even though water tanks have strainers, plant material, animal waste and sediment will still find their way into the bottom of your tank. Over time, this turns into a layer of sludge which can become a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and become potentially dangerous to your family's health (causing vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhoea and other health impacts).
The most frequent reason for issues with water pump malfunction and wearing is the sludge and sediment getting into the water pump (and your household water supply)!
Some areas require frequent cleaning due to;

We clean all water tanks, including;
We use a vacuum pump machine system that pumps sediment and sludge out of your tank. For the cleaning process, at least 0.5 - 1 metre water depth is required, and you will only loose between 15-20cm water depth from your tank, which then can be redistributed into your existing overflow area for your water tank (and being organic matter, it will not pollute the environment with chemicals).
In the instance that your internal tank walls require high pressure hose cleaning, this will be done after removing the sludge and sediment to avoid stirring up the water. This may result in greater water loss and an additional water source is needed to perform this.
That's great! The more water in your tank the better as the water volume pressure pushes sludge and sediment to the bottom of your tank for optimal cleaning! You will only loose between 15-20cm of water during the cleaning process.
